Tracy | Bridals

Tracy is a Southern bride through & through. She is as sweet as that smile on her face. But don't let that distract you from the fact that she is a triathlete. That's right - when she's not all dressed in white she can be found hitting the pavement in her running shoes or on her road bike. You go girl!

The dress she found at I Do Bridal & Formal in Mobile was absolute perfection. Lace graced her collarbone, revealing a sweetheart neckline while the rest of her dress hugged every curve before flaring out at the bottom.

I loved playing dress up with Tracy & her maid of honor a few weeks before her wedding day for this lovely session. Give me a gorgeous Southern bride in lace & an avenue of old oak trees & I am in heaven! Enjoy a view of my favorites from her Springhill bridal session.

Oooooh girl.

Savannah & Robert | Engaged

Savannah & Robert are getting married in just four days! Ah!

Last month we met up at their wedding reception venue, Stewartfield, for a sweet engagement session. We laughed & embraced the cooler weather brought on by a few early morning showers.

These two met as freshman in college & they've been together ever since. They knew early on that marriage was in their future & are looking forward to saying 'I Do' surrounded by their closest friends & family. I loved getting to know Savannah & Robert better, so enjoy a few of my favorite photographs from their engagement session.

Mother's Day 2017 | A Personal Post

Dear Mom,

You once prayed for a little girl that'd be just like you. Well the Man upstairs certainly granted you that wish & then some. There's not a single day that goes by that I am not thankful for you.

You were there since day one. You are my biggest cheerleader (including my recent crazy tendencies - #running13.1milesforfun) & my support system when it seems like everything is falling a part. You are my secret business partner & constant sounding board. Sure we argue (hello we're too much a like). But I know I wouldn't survive a day without my best friend.

Let's be honest - I'd never find a thing in Walmart if it weren't for you or know how to make poppyseed chicken casserole. You are in fact right about everything. And thank you for spoiling your granddog, Elliot, too.

One day to celebrate you simply isn't enough.

I love you.

As a family photographer, I've been lucky to witness the interaction & love between a mother & her child. From the first cry to the first steps to the first booboo to graduation day - she's there.

One thing I treasure is the ability to watch some of my dearest friends take on the role of motherhood with such grace. You ladies inspire me daily.

As a wedding photographer, one of my favorite moments to capture is the moment when a mother helps her daughter into her wedding dress. I myself am not a mother but can only imagine this being a moment that mom has dreamed about since the moment she heard "it's a girl"!

*It is actually a rule of mine on wedding day - to not get into your dress without me present. It's that important to me!

Boy moms - I haven't forgotten about you! You've spent years washing dirt stains out of baseball pants followed by many nervous nights after he turned 16 & got that first truck. You've spent many days praying for that young man in your life. And momma, you did good. Your baby boy is now a man who will leave home to start his own home with his beautiful bride (whom you've been praying diligently for too). Be proud.

And I will not ignore the fact that this day is hard for many. You may have lost your mom this year. Or you may have had a miscarriage & struggling to hold it together today. But do know that I am praying for you. You are so loved & your worth is far more than rubies.

Happy Mother's Day to all the strong, selfless & ever inspiring mothers. Thank you to all the moms, grandmas, birth moms, adoptive moms, & fur moms. To be a mother is to be love. Thank you & forever grateful for all that you do. | Aenny Chung

Sydni & Colton | Engaged

Oh these two - y'all. All the heart eye emojis.

Sydni & Colton met as students at the University of Mobile.  They were friends for a while & then became "official" in February of 2015. Two years of dating led Colton to propose & now they're planning a summer wedding.

The session started with a few nervous giggles - which is totally normal by the way. Eventually those nerves faded away but the laughter & huge smiles remained.

Sydni & Colton are so in love & I simply LOVE that.

As we were roaming about downtown Fairhope, I mentioned going to this cute little restaurant courtyard...little did I know this is where the two ate immediately following their proposal. Pizone's provided the perfect background for a few of their engagement photos with their creamy white walls.

This tree. That light. And two people madly in love equals a photographer's dream!

After this engagement session, I am so looking forward to their wedding day in July!

ACCESS Magazine | 2017 Swim & Fitness Special

If you know me, you know I love the beach. So anytime "work" allows me to have sand between my toes, I kick off my shoes & leap towards the seashore! This session was no exception.

Hayley Hill is the editor of a local style magazine, ACCESS. She emailed saying she loved my work & wanted ME to be a part of their upcoming swimsuit & fitness. Eeeek!!! Getting to know Hayley & her staff was so much fun & spending the afternoon at the beach was pretty wonderful too! Here's the final product & page layouts. Enjoy!

*Don't forget to click through the images above to see the entire layout.

This was my first ever editorial shoot & let me just tell you - it takes a team. Here's a few behind the scenes shots!

Callie | Senior Portraits

This sweet girl contacted me almost a year ago about her senior portraits, so when we finally met for her session it felt like we'd known each other for awhile.

Callie is graduating from the University of Mobile this spring with a degree in Early Childhood Education.

I loved roaming about my alma mater capturing this exciting season of her life. Callie has the sweetest soul & will be an incredible teacher.

*Little did Callie know that her boyfriend was now hiding inside Lyon Chapel waiting to ask her a very important question. See how this senior session quickly changed in to a proposal!

SHE SAID YES!!!

Congrats Callie on graduating college & on your recent engagement!
